Freddy Bishop - CEO

Freddy Bishop is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Citizens Gas Utility District. The man to whom the Board of Commissioners turns to insure the system operates efficiently and in accordance with state and government regulations. Mr. Bishop is responsible for the District's Gathering System and Natural Gas Storage Facilities, which includes purchase and sale of natural gas with East Tennessee Natural Gas Pipeline and local producers, along with all transactions involving the storage, hedging and grid trading of natural gas.

Mr. Freddy Bishop has served as CEO of the District since June 2005. Prior to being named CEO, Mr. Bishop has worked for Citizens Gas Utility District as the General Manager, Office Manager, Construction Superintendent, and as Assistant Manager. He began his career with Citizens Gas Utility District in June 1979.
